ABOUT ME

Having spent numerous years actively managing my own health and wellbeing through holistic therapies I wanted to train in reflexology to grow and normalise it as a credible form of treatment. Reflexology is only one modality, but it never stops fascinating me that you can access your entire body through the feet – feet are the doorway to the body.

I am trained to a level 5, this is the highest training within the field meaning more classroom hours, more academically demanding which delved deeper into the theory and practice. I wanted to offer the best quality of treatment, to elevate reflexology as a genuine approach to health. I am really excited to observe the growing body of reliable research that is hopefully going to bring the practice of reflexology into the mainstream.

Whilst I am indebted to conventional medicine, I am in ore of the power of holistic therapies. I believe that there are so many ways we can approach our health that is more gentle, and which has so many positive benefits, as the phrase goes ‘health is wealth’. I have worked in the field of drug & alcohol treatment for many years and I have learnt so much about the mind - body connection. How many conditions that are caused or exacerbated by stress is a telling sign of a world that is designed to take its toll. And why its so important, for ourselves and loved ones, to tend to our whole self, and reflexology does exactly that.

Additionally, I hold a foundation certificate in counselling, providing a supportive environment where you can feel safe, held and without judgement. My years of working within a therapeutic setting, supporting people who have experienced deep suffering means I am equipped with tools and techniques that I can share with anyone who maybe experiencing emotional difficulties.

I devote my spare time to practices such as yoga, cold water swimming, meditation, and connecting with nature. These pursuits serve to keep me grounded and well, and their benefits naturally extend to the treatments I offer.
